Indicator: B5.2.9.1.1 - Read grade-level texts with good speed and accuracy

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read a grade-level passage aloud at a steady pace without frequent stopping or hesitation.
Identify and pronounce words from the passage correctly without guessing or skipping.
Apply the three-stage approach (before reading, during reading, after reading) to prepare for and understand a text.
Use the KWL strategy to set a purpose for reading and check their understanding of the text.
Read with appropriate attention to punctuation marks such as full stops, commas and question marks.
