Indicator: B4.2.9.1.1

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read a grade-level passage aloud at a steady pace without stopping to sound out every word.
Read grade-level words with accuracy, correctly pronouncing at least 9 out of 10 words in a short passage.
Use appropriate expression when reading, such as changing voice for questions, exclamations and full stops.
Identify punctuation marks that signal changes in pace and expression while reading.
Take turns to read aloud in small groups while listening to peers and offering helpful feedback.
