Learning Objectives
Indicator: B2.2.9.1.1 - Read texts/stories/passages with good pace, accuracy and expression
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read a short passage aloud at a steady, natural pace without rushing or pausing too long
- Pronounce words correctly when reading aloud, self-correcting obvious mistakes
- Use their voice to show meaning by varying tone, volume and pitch for different characters and events
- Read with appropriate expression in pairs, taking turns to read and listen to each other
- Identify whether a peer’s reading sounds smooth, clear and expressive, and offer one simple suggestion for improvement
