Indicator: B2.2.9.1.1 - Read texts/stories/passages with good pace, accuracy and expression

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read a short passage aloud at a steady, natural pace without rushing or pausing too long
Pronounce words correctly when reading aloud, self-correcting obvious mistakes
Use their voice to show meaning by varying tone, volume and pitch for different characters and events
Read with appropriate expression in pairs, taking turns to read and listen to each other
Identify whether a peer’s reading sounds smooth, clear and expressive, and offer one simple suggestion for improvement
