Learning Objectives
Indicator: B3.4.1.4.2 - Describe the role of moderate to vigorous physical activity in achieving or maintaining good health.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain what moderate and vigorous physical activities are and give at least two examples of each.
- Describe how moderate to vigorous physical activity improves aerobic capacity, using their own words.
- State at least three health benefits of participating in regular moderate to vigorous physical activity.
- Demonstrate participation in a short session of moderate to vigorous activity while describing how their body responds.
- Explain why regular participation in physical activity is important for maintaining good health.
