Learning Objectives
Indicator: B3.4.5.4.6 - Recall why adolescents use drugs for physical activities.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State at least four reasons why adolescents use drugs for physical activities.
- Explain in their own words why some young people use drugs to reduce pain during or after exercise.
- Discuss how the desire to gain confidence or imitate others can lead adolescents to use drugs.
- Work cooperatively in groups to identify and present reasons for adolescent drug use in physical activities.
- Show tolerance and good listening skills when responding to the views of classmates during discussions.
