Learning Objectives
Indicator: B2.4.2.4.3 - Sort food into different groups.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name at least five common foods eaten in their community.
- Identify the food group for each food item named (carbohydrate, fruit, vegetable, or protein).
- Sort a given list of at least ten food items into the correct food groups.
- Explain in their own words why eating foods from different groups is good for the body.
- Work with a partner to group food pictures and discuss their choices politely.
