Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.6.4.1.1 - Show how to create a favourite link.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Explain what a favourite link (bookmark) is and why it is useful for quick access to websites they visit often.
  2. Demonstrate the steps to create a favourite link in a web browser, using either a computer or a mobile device.
  3. Give reasons for saving particular websites as favourites, such as educational sites or pages they use regularly.
  4. Use accurate vocabulary related to favourites, including “bookmark”, “favourite”, “URL” and “web browser”.
  5. Work with a partner to create a favourite link for a given educational website and describe the steps they followed.
