Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.6.4.1.1 - Show how to create a favourite link.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain what a favourite link (bookmark) is and why it is useful for quick access to websites they visit often.
- Demonstrate the steps to create a favourite link in a web browser, using either a computer or a mobile device.
- Give reasons for saving particular websites as favourites, such as educational sites or pages they use regularly.
- Use accurate vocabulary related to favourites, including “bookmark”, “favourite”, “URL” and “web browser”.
- Work with a partner to create a favourite link for a given educational website and describe the steps they followed.
