By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define what a search engine is in their own words.
  2. Identify at least three common search engines by name (Google, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo).
  3. Describe one key difference between at least two search engines.
  4. State the purpose of a search engine in everyday life.
  5. Explain the difference between a search engine and a website address (URL) they type directly.
