Indicator: B7.3.4.1.2 - Categorise different farming systems
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Classify given descriptions of farming practices under the correct farming system: Land Rotation, Crop Rotation, Mixed Cropping, Mixed Farming, and Organic Farming.
- Identify and group farming systems currently practised in their own community under the five categories.
- Justify their classification by pointing out the defining feature of each farming system from a description.
- Create a simple table or chart that sorts local farming practices into the correct farming system categories.
