Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.2.3.1.5 - Identify the letter-sound learnt for the week in words related to the theme and write the letter and key word boldly and legibly in their books.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the letter-sound for the week (letter “k”, sound /k/) in words related to family celebrations and festivals.
- Orally give at least three festival-related words that begin with the letter “k” and its sound.
- Write the letter “k” boldly and legibly on the blue and red lines in their exercise books, following the correct formation pattern.
- Write the key word “kente” legibly and neatly on the blue and red lines.
- Point to and say the key word “kente” when they see it in a simple sentence about festivals.
