Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.5.4.1.4 - Écrire un texte simple pour faire une réservation. (Production écrite et Interaction écrite)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Write a short message or email in French to reserve a table at a restaurant or a room in a hotel, using the expressions “Je voudrais” and “J’aimerais” correctly.
Include all key information in a written reservation: the date, the time, the number of people or nights, and the type of table or room needed.
Respond in writing to a confirmation or refusal of a reservation using appropriate polite phrases such as “C’est entendu” and “Merci d’avance”.
Write a short dictated text about making a reservation with accurate spelling of key vocabulary words (table, chambre, réserver, personne, etc.).
Format a simple email correctly, including a greeting, a body with the reservation request, and a closing with thanks.
