Learning Objectives

Indicator: B9.8.2.1.2 - Exprimer des souhaits (Production orale et Interaction orale)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Use at least six different expressions from the “OUTILS / MANIÈRE DE LE DIRE” list to express wishes for different occasions (birthdays, meals, journeys, holidays) in a role-play context.
Ask a classmate “Qu’est-ce que tu souhaites faire/devenir?” and give an appropriate response using “Je souhaite / Je veux” + infinitive.
Distinguish correctly between “J’espère que” + future tense and “J’espère” + infinitive when stating their hopes in an interview (micro-trottoir) activity.
Participate in a short dramatised dialogue of at least four exchanges where characters express wishes for each other, speaking clearly enough for classmates to understand.
Respond appropriately and spontaneously to wishes addressed to them, such as “Bon appétit!”, “Bonne journée!”, or “Santé!” during the lesson activities.
