Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.4.14.2.1 - Write articles on varied topics

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the key features of an article, including the headline, introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion.
  2. Plan an article on a given topic by brainstorming and organising ideas in a logical order.
  3. Write a complete article of at least three paragraphs on a varied topic, using correct paragraph structure and simple linking words.
  4. Revise their own article to check for completeness, clarity, spelling, and punctuation.
  5. Demonstrate confidence in sharing their written articles with peers through pair reading and class presentation.
