Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.4.14.2.1 - Write picture events about personal experiences and make radio/TV presentations

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Explain what a picture event is and identify the key parts of a news report (who, what, where, when, why).
  2. Write a short news report of 4 to 6 sentences about a personal experience, using a picture as a guide.
  3. Read their written news aloud with clear pronunciation and appropriate expression, as if presenting on radio or TV.
  4. Work in groups to select one interesting event of the day and produce a short broadcast to present to the class.
