Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.2.1.5.1 - Show the ability to share very basic information about others, their personalities, character and talents.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Recall and use at least 10 Arabic adjectives for describing personality, character and talents (e.g. طَيِّب، مُجْتَهِد، لَطِيف، كَرِيم، شُجَاع، مُسَاعِد، ذَكِيّ، مَاهِر).
  2. Use a given sentence format to describe another person’s personality, character and talent in 3 to 5 complete Arabic sentences.
  3. Ask and answer simple questions about a classmate’s personality, character and talent using the question words مَا and كَيْفَ.
  4. Present a short oral description of a classmate to the whole class, using the third person (هُوَ / هِيَ) correctly.
  5. Work with a group to gather information about group members and present it collaboratively to the class.
