Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.2.1.4.2 - Recognise and name teaching and learning materials like books, pens, pencils, ruler, pictures in simple phrases and sentences.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify at least six teaching and learning materials (book, pen, pencil, ruler, bag, picture) by their correct Arabic names when the teacher points to them or shows a picture.
  2. Produce a simple Arabic phrase stating where a given item is, using the pattern “the [item] is on/under/near the [place]” (e.g., القلم على المكتب).
  3. Answer the teacher’s question أين القلم؟ (Where is the pen?) by naming a position of at least two different items in the classroom.
  4. Use the correct Arabic prepositions of place (على، تحت، في، بجانب) in spoken phrases about classroom objects.
  5. Ask a classmate a simple question about the position of a learning material and respond correctly to the same question when asked.
