Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.2.1.2.2 - Demonstrate oral proficiency in the use of words to describe self and the human body parts.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State their name, age, and status as a student in simple Arabic sentences using the modelled template (e.g., اسمي قاسم، عمري خمسة عشر عاما، أنا طالب في الصف الأول).
  2. Identify and pronounce correctly at least eight body parts in Arabic from the exemplar list (رأس، شعر، وجه، عين، أنف، فم، أذن، عنق، يد، إصبع، بطن، رجل، قدم).
  3. Form three complete Arabic sentences describing a body part and its function, using the pattern “هذه … للـ…” or “أنا أستخدم … للـ…” (e.g., هذه يدي للكتابة).
  4. Describe themselves orally for 30 seconds using at least three sentences from the self-introduction template without reading from notes.
  5. Respond appropriately when a partner introduces themselves, by greeting and asking one follow-up question like “كم عمرك؟”.
