Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.2.1.2.4 - Demonstrate skills in the pronunciation of names of home items, and room contents.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Pronounce the Arabic names of at least ten home items accurately, including خزانة (wardrobe), سرير (bed), and مصباح (lamp).
  2. Identify each home item when the teacher says its Arabic name aloud.
  3. Form simple oral sentences using the pattern “في البيت …” (In the house there is …) with the home item vocabulary.
  4. Respond to the teacher’s question “ما هذا؟” (What is this?) by naming the item shown in a picture or real object.
  5. Use the vocabulary words in short spoken sentences that describe the contents of a room, for example “في غرفتي سرير” (In my room there is a bed).
