Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.4.5.2.1 - Simuler une conversation téléphonique entre deux interlocuteurs.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify and use at least five common French telephone expressions (Allô, C’est qui?, Ne quitte pas, etc.) correctly in spoken sentences.
  2. Answer a simulated phone call with an appropriate greeting and self-identification in French.
  3. Ask and respond to at least two questions about identity and purpose of the call during a role-play.
  4. Simulate a complete short telephone conversation between two people (at least four exchanges) using expressions learned in class.
  5. End a telephone conversation politely using appropriate closing expressions in French.
