Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.4.5.2.2 - Présenter quelqu’un au téléphone

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify and use the key phrases for introducing someone on the phone, such as “Je te présente mon ami(e)”, “Voici mon ami(e)”, and “Je voudrais te présenter…”
  2. Present a friend or family member to someone on the phone in a short, complete sentence, using the correct French structure.
  3. Respond appropriately when someone is introduced to them on the phone, using phrases like “Enchanté(e)” or “Ravi(e) de te connaître”.
  4. Role-play a short phone conversation in which they introduce a friend to a parent or another friend, demonstrating correct turn-taking.
  5. Recognise the difference between formal and informal introduction phrases and choose the appropriate one based on who they are speaking to.
