Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.4.5.1.1 - Écouter/Regarder et comprendre un clip sur deux personnes qui communiquent par téléphone
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the main idea of a short phone conversation clip between two people (who is calling, who is answering, and why the call is being made).
- Recognise and understand 6 to 8 key telephone phrases heard in the clip, such as “Allô”, “C’est qui?”, “Je voudrais parler à…”, and “Au revoir”.
- Answer simple comprehension questions in French or English about who, what and where in the phone conversation.
- State whether the tone of the conversation is polite, friendly or formal, based on the words used.
- Match spoken telephone phrases to their meanings in English by listening carefully.
