By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify at least three key phrases used when answering and making a phone call in French, as heard in an audio or video clip.
Respond correctly to comprehension questions about who is calling, why they are calling, and what the outcome of the call is.
Match spoken French telephone expressions (for example, “Allô”, “C’est qui?”, “Ne quittez pas”) to their meanings in English.
Predict the content of a phone conversation based on visual clues before watching the clip.
Compare telephone greeting customs in francophone cultures with those in Ghana when prompted by the teacher.
