Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.4.5.4.1 - Échanger des petits messages écrits par téléphone

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Write short telephone messages in French to invite a friend to an event or activity.
  2. Write a brief reply message in French, accepting or declining an invitation.
  3. Use at least five common telephone message phrases correctly, such as “Salut,” “Comment ça va?”, “Tu viens?”, “À bientôt,” and “Merci.”
  4. Demonstrate proper message structure by including a greeting, a purpose, and a closing in their written messages.
  5. Exchange written telephone messages with a partner and verify that the message is understood.
