Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.4.5.2.2 - Se présenter au téléphone
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Introduce themselves politely when answering or making a telephone call using the phrase “Allô, c’est…” (Hello, it is…)
- Present another person, such as a friend or a teacher, on the phone using “Je te présente…” (I present to you…) or “Voici…” (Here is…)
- Use appropriate polite expressions such as “Bonjour” (Good day) and “Comment allez-vous?” (How are you?) in a phone conversation
- Role-play a short phone call where they introduce their French teacher to a friend, using at least four correct French sentences
- Respond appropriately when someone is introduced to them on the phone by saying “Enchanté(e)” (Delighted to meet you) or “Bonjour, je suis…”
