Indicator: B4.4.5.3.1 - Lire et comprendre un dialogue court d’une conversation téléphonique

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Read aloud a short telephone dialogue in French with acceptable pronunciation of key phrases such as Allô, C’est… and Je voudrais parler à…
  2. Identify who is speaking and what the call is about by answering simple comprehension questions in English or French.
  3. Match key telephone expressions (Allô, C’est…, Ne quittez pas, Au revoir) to their meanings.
  4. Rearrange jumbled lines of a short telephone dialogue into the correct order.
  5. Create and read a short telephone dialogue of 4 to 6 exchanges using the model given.
