Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.6.2.LI.1 - Discuss the importance of entrepreneurship to personal development

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define entrepreneur and entrepreneurship in their own words and give at least two local examples of each.
  2. Identify at least four ways entrepreneurship contributes to personal development, such as building confidence, financial independence, problem-solving skills, and self-discipline.
  3. Explain how entrepreneurship can be a pathway to self-employment and personal growth.
  4. Debate the advantages and disadvantages of entrepreneurship to personal development, supporting their position with reasoned arguments.
  5. Reflect on how entrepreneurship might influence their own personal development plans and career aspirations.
