Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.1.3.1.1 - Produce /r/ and /l/ sounds in different positions in word
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the /r/ and /l/ sounds when they hear them in words spoken by the teacher or a classmate.
- Produce the /r/ sound correctly in words where it appears at the beginning, middle, and end of the word.
- Produce the /l/ sound correctly in words where it appears at the beginning, middle, and end of the word.
- Distinguish between minimal pairs such as “right” and “light” and pronounce each word clearly so a listener can tell the difference.
- Read aloud a short passage containing words with /r/ and /l/ in different positions, using the correct sounds consistently.
