Indicator: 3.1.1.LI.2 - Explain the role of the SDGs in societal development.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Explain how the SDGs serve as a shared global framework for guiding national and community development efforts.
Describe at least three specific ways in which the SDGs have influenced development planning in Ghana.
Analyse the relationship between the SDGs and improvements in the quality of life of citizens.
Justify why the SDGs matter for engineering practice and why engineers must align their work with these goals.
Discuss the role of the SDGs in promoting global cooperation and shared responsibility for development.
