Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.6.7.1.7 - Demonstrate some e-mail tips.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State at least four e-mail tips for writing and managing messages professionally.
  2. Demonstrate why writing an e-mail in capital letters is considered rude and how to write in proper case.
  3. Check the extension of a file before downloading an attachment to avoid harmful files.
  4. Write a clear and short subject line that summarises the content of an e-mail.
  5. Apply at least three e-mail tips when writing a sample message on paper or on a device.
