Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.6.7.1.4 - Illustrate viewing received messages and Create or Compose messages.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the main parts of the email interface, including the Inbox, Compose button, and message area.
  2. View and open a received message in their email account and identify its sender, subject, and body.
  3. Compose a new email by filling in the To, Subject, and Message fields correctly.
  4. Format text in an email message using bold, italics, and font size options where available.
  5. Demonstrate the correct order of steps for sending an email and explain what happens after clicking Send.
