Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.4.1.LI.2 - Identifica y menciona lugares en la escuela. (Expresión oral)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

List at least eight places found in a typical school (such as la biblioteca, el laboratorio, el patio, la oficina del director, el comedor) using the correct Spanish article.
Identify school places from pictures, audio clips, or video stills and name them aloud with correct pronunciation.
Use the demonstrative adjectives este, esta, estos, estas, esos, and esas to point out school places based on proximity and distance (e.g., este laboratorio vs. ese laboratorio).
Ask and answer simple questions about locations in their own school using the structure “¿Qué lugar es este?”, “¿Dónde está…?”, and respond with complete short sentences.
Describe their own school using at least three places, combining the verb hay (there is/are) with the school places vocabulary learned in this lesson.
