Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.1.4.1.1 - Talk about how to keep our bodies healthy by eating balanced meal and visiting the hospital for our vaccinations.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Name at least three food items that help keep their bodies healthy.
  2. Explain in simple words why we need to eat good food every day.
  3. Say what a balanced meal means using at least two examples of foods from different groups.
  4. State one reason why we visit the hospital for vaccinations (immunisation).
  5. Talk about the importance of combining good food and vaccinations to stay healthy.
