Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.1.2.1.3
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Generate at least three different design ideas for simple products and select the most suitable one for model development.
- Draw accurate 2-D templates of simple shapes and forms that will be used to construct 3-D models.
- Construct a finished 3-D model of a simple product using cardboard, Styrofoam, clay or pulp paper, following their own drawn template.
- Display their completed models and give constructive feedback on the work of peers during class appreciation and appraisal sessions.
- Explain how their finished model could be improved or adapted for a different purpose.
