Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.1.2.1.2
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- identify and name at least three digital tools (software or apps) suitable for 3-D drawing, shading and colouring available on their phones, tablets or school computers.
- use a selected digital tool to create a 3-D design that combines lines, simple shapes and forms, with accurate shading and colouring.
- apply at least two digital shading techniques (e.g. gradient, opacity or tonal layering) to give their design a three-dimensional appearance.
- document the suitability of each digital tool they try, noting its strengths and weaknesses for drawing, shading and colouring.
- present their finished digital design to peers for appraisal and give constructive feedback on another learner’s work.
