Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.1.5.2.2 - Develop sketches from stories read or heard

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the key parts of a story (beginning, middle, and end) orally after reading or listening to a story.
  2. Work collaboratively in groups to plan and develop a short sketch based on a story read or heard.
  3. Write a simple sketch in dialogue form, showing the main events and characters from the story.
  4. Read out their group’s sketch to the class with clear speaking, correct pronunciation, and appropriate expression.
  5. Give and receive constructive comments on sketches presented by peers.
