Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.1.5.1.1 - Role-play a story/play
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- identify the main characters and key events in a familiar story such as “Ananse and the Black Pot”
- discuss the sequence of events in the story using words like first, next, then and finally
- role-play short scenes from the story, speaking in the voice of the character they are playing
- work cooperatively in groups to rehearse and present a role-play of one scene to the class
- evaluate their own and others’ performances, saying one thing done well and one thing to improve
