Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.4.9.3.1 - Lisez et comprendre des ordres

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Read aloud a simple French order (imperative sentence) with correct pronunciation.
  2. Match a written French order to the correct picture among a set of options.
  3. Perform the correct action after reading a written order without hearing it spoken.
  4. Distinguish between at least five common action verbs used in simple orders (e.g., lève-toi, assieds-toi, écoute, regarde, écris, lis).
  5. Respond correctly to written orders in a short classroom activity, showing that reading, not listening, is the source of understanding.
