By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and distinguish between orders (ordres) and prohibitions (interdictions) when listening to a recorded conversation or audio text.
Pick out key verbs and phrases used for giving orders and prohibitions from an audio recording.
Respond appropriately to spoken orders and prohibitions by acting them out or giving a verbal reaction (e.g., “Oui, madame” or “D’accord”).
Determine the tone and context of a spoken instruction to decide whether it is an order or a prohibition.
Complete a listening discrimination exercise by matching spoken sentences to the correct category (ordre or interdiction).
