By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read aloud a simple French text (letter, message, sign or notice) containing advice or warnings with correct pronunciation and intonation.
Identify and underline expressions of advice (Il faut, Je vous conseille de, Vous devez, Tu peux) and warnings (Attention, Danger, Ne touchez pas) in a written text.
Distinguish between a text that gives advice and a text that gives a warning, justifying their answer with evidence from the text.
Answer comprehension questions in French or English (as directed by the teacher) about a simple text in which someone gives advice or warnings.
Match common warning signs and public notices (road signs, hygiene notices) to their meanings in French.
