Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.1.3.5.1 - Display own visual artworks to share creative experiences based on ideas that reflect the history and culture of people in other African communities

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Explain the purpose of displaying artworks that share ideas about the history and culture of other African communities.
  2. Prepare and organise at least three of their own artworks into a small portfolio for public display.
  3. Demonstrate correct display techniques, including arranging works at eye level, labelling artworks with titles, and grouping works by theme.
  4. Present their displayed artworks to classmates or visitors, speaking clearly about the history and culture reflected in each piece.
  5. Use audio recording on a mobile device to capture a short oral report about their display experience.
