Learning Objectives
Indicator: B2.1.3.4.1 - Plan for a display of own artworks to share creative experiences based on ideas from visual artworks that reflect the history and culture of people in other Ghanaian communities
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least two artworks from other Ghanaian communities and explain one historical or cultural idea shown in each.
- State at least three reasons why displaying a portfolio of own artworks is important.
- Select and group their own artworks into categories (for example, drawings, colour work, clay models) for a planned display.
- Choose and describe a suitable venue within the school for the display, giving at least one reason for the choice.
- List the people they would invite to the display (for example, other classes, parents, the head teacher) and explain why each group is invited.
