Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.3.1.2.2 - Dire quels comportements l’on aime chez quelqu’un
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State at least five French adjectives describing positive behaviours or character traits of a person (gentil, discipliné, strict, honnête, respectueux, etc.) and use them correctly with il/elle.
- Orally produce complete sentences beginning with “J’aime” or “Je n’aime pas” plus a behaviour or character trait, respecting subject-verb agreement (e.g., J’aime les gens gentils).
- Present a short spoken description (3 to 4 sentences) of a person whose behaviour they appreciate, naming the person and giving specific reasons using “parce qu’il/elle est…”
- Respond orally to questions such as “Quels comportements aimes-tu chez quelqu’un?” with appropriate full-sentence answers.
- Demonstrate correct pronunciation of key vocabulary: gentil, gentille, discipliné, strict, honnête, respectueux, poli, patient.
