By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read aloud a simple French text about what people like and dislike, with acceptable pronunciation.
Identify expressions of likes (j’aime, j’adore, j’aime bien) and dislikes (je n’aime pas, je déteste) in a written text.
Answer comprehension questions in English or French to show understanding of a short text about preferences.
Match names in the text to the objects or activities each person likes or dislikes.
State in French, in one short sentence, one thing a character in the text does not like.
