Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.6.9.1.3 - Debate a spam and solicited messages.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define spam messages and solicited messages in their own words with accurate examples of each.
- Identify at least three distinguishing features between spam and solicited messages.
- Classify a given list of message samples as either spam or solicited, giving a reason for each choice.
- Participate in a structured classroom debate, presenting at least one valid point either for or against a motion about spam messages.
- Apply at least one practical strategy for handling spam messages when they encounter them in their daily use of phones and the internet.
