Indicator: B4.3.2.1.4 - Identify and use demonstratives: this/that, these/those

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the four demonstratives (this, that, these, those) in given sentences.
  2. Explain that “this” and “that” are used before singular nouns while “these” and “those” are used before plural nouns.
  3. Use “this” and “these” for things near the speaker and “that” and “those” for things far from the speaker.
  4. Write four original sentences using demonstratives correctly, including at least one singular pair and one plural pair.
