Indicator: 2.1.4.LI.1 - Draw exploded views of final solutions.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Explain the purpose and function of an exploded view in communicating a design solution.
Identify the relationship between parts in an exploded view and their positions in the assembled artefact.
Draw a neat exploded view of a simple artefact using drawing instruments, showing correct part alignment along a common axis.
Label the parts of the exploded view with their correct names.
Justify the use of exploded views in the design and realisation process, explaining how they aid construction planning.
