Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.4.12.1.1 - Describe places in a coherent paragraph

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Recall and talk about a place they have visited or know well, using simple descriptive words.
  2. List descriptive words (adjectives) that tell how a place looks, sounds, smells and feels.
  3. Arrange sentences about a place in a logical order (first, next, then, finally).
  4. Write a short paragraph of at least 4 to 6 sentences describing a familiar place.
  5. Read their paragraph aloud to a partner and check that it makes sense.
