Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.4.2.LI.2 - Describe tu lugar favorito en la escuela. (Expresión oral)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and name at least six important places in their school in Spanish (cafetería, biblioteca, dormitorios, laboratorio, cancha deportiva, oficina del director).
State the location of their favourite place using at least four prepositions of place correctly (delante de, detrás de, al lado de, cerca de, enfrente de, etc.).
Use the verb “ser” with adjectives to describe the permanent characteristics of a place (El laboratorio es grande y moderno).
Use the verb “estar” with prepositions to indicate where a place is located (La biblioteca está al lado de la oficina del director).
Give a short oral description of their favourite place in school, following the guided structure: ¿Qué es? ¿Dónde está? ¿Cómo es? ¿Qué hay en ese lugar?

Para hacer la descripción de un lugar se pueden seguir los pasos siguientes:
- ¿Qué es? (Menciona el lugar que vas a describir)
- ¿Dónde se encuentra?
