Indicator: 3.2.8.LI.1 - Prepara un mini-blog describiendo a tu vecino/vecina. (Expresión escrita)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and extract physical and personality descriptors from an authentic Spanish text about two different people.
Construct comparative sentences using “más + adjetivo + que”, “menos + adjetivo + que”, and “tan + adjetivo + como” to contrast two people.
Apply irregular comparative adjectives (mejor, peor, mayor, menor) correctly in written descriptions.
Write a mini-blog entry of 80 to 120 words describing their neighbour, including both physical appearance and character traits, with correct adjective and noun agreement.
Present their mini-blog to a partner or small group, responding to questions about the similarities and differences between themselves and their neighbour.

Rompehielos (icebreaker): El profesor/la profesora muestra fotos de dos jóvenes y pregunta a los/las aprendices cómo son (aspecto físico ej. altos, bajos, gordos o pequeñas y también tienen que incluir descripción de carácter).

Input: Los aprendices leen un texto auténtico sobre la descripción de dos personas distintas en cuanto a su apariencia y su personalidad. Luego, destacan las diferencias entre estas dos personas.

Building on previous knowledge: El profesor/la profesora vuelve a introducir la estructura de comparación. A. .....más + adjetivo + que (de superioridad) B....menos + adjetivo+ que(de inferioridad) C. ....tan + adjetivo + como (de igualdad)
- El profesor introduce otras formas de comparación (Adjetivos comparativos irregulares)
