Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.4.2.1.3 - Lire, comprendre et réagir à un texte dans lequel on demande son chemin ou indique le chemin (Réception écrite / Compréhension des écrits)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read aloud a short French text in which someone asks for or gives directions, with correct pronunciation of key route vocabulary (tourner, traverser, continuer, prendre, passer).
Identify and extract the key directional expressions from a written text (e.g., tournez à droite, continuez tout droit, prenez la première rue à gauche).
Answer comprehension questions in French or English on a written itinerary text, showing understanding of the route described.
Match directional phrases to places on a simple city map after reading a short passage.
React to a written itinerary by stating whether given statements are true or false (vrai ou faux) based on the text.
